Weekly Update!

We had a super fun-filled exciting week! The girls worked very hard reviewing for the math assessment. I will grade these over the weekend and send them home in your daughter's packet of papers on Monday.
On Thursday, we enjoyed the beautiful weather and walked to St. Chris. The girls enjoyed meeting their pen pals for the first time. They got to know each other and discovered many similar interests. Next, they took a picture together using their iPads and created a comic strip using the Pow Strip Design app. Click here to see pictures of the girls with their pen pals, and click here to see the Pow Strip Design creations.

In language arts and science, we are close to finishing our novel "Dolphins at Daybreak". The girls are doing an amazing job with their pastel and watercolor paintings. We will finish the novel and paintings this coming week. To supplement our oceans unit, we had a fantastic field trip to the Science Museum on Friday. Thank you so much for making sure your daughter came to school in her field trip attire with her lunch and water bottle labelled!! I was so impressed by how well-behaved the girls were the entire day😀Click here to see pictures from this event. Many thanks to Mr. Glatt for chaperoning our trip!

Mrs. Atkins is spearheading the current Outreach project called "Lend a Helping Paw". Please look for the above flyers to come home on Monday.
